North Broward Prep proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 11) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Palmer Trinity Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Jack Rostock tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, North Broward Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

North Broward Prep's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Palmer Trinity, they moved to 20-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

North Broward Prep has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Clewiston on the 15th. As for Palmer Trinity, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Westminster Christian on the 15th.
