Aledo is 8-1-1 against Azle since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Aledo Bearcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Azle Hornets at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Aledo and four for Azle.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Aledo had to settle for a 3-2 loss against Brewer. Aledo has not had much luck with Brewer recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Azle didn't have quite enough to beat Saginaw on Friday and fell 2-1.
Aledo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-3. As for Azle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season.
Aledo beat Azle by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2023, winning 1-0. Does Aledo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Azle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
