 Northgate wouldn't go down easily and took Acalanes into a fifth set  where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-15, 17-25, 16-25,  15-8.
Meanwhile, Campolindo sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over Las Lomas  on Tuesday.
 Campolindo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 17-25, 25-11, 25-21,  15-13.
 Northgate's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Campolindo, their win bumped their record up to 24-6.
 Northgate might still be hurting after the  3-0 defeat they got from Campolindo  in their previous matchup  back in September. Can the Broncos avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
