After losing to the Covenant Christian Warriors the last time they met, the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard secured a 57-52 W over Covenant Christian on Friday. With that victory, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard found their leader in underclassman Ethan Roseman, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Roseman has scored at least 25% of Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Guy, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Covenant Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will face off against Indianapolis Shortridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Indianapolis Shortridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday. Covenant Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tipton at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th. Tipton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
