Abrego was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards. Another player making a difference was JT Santa Maria, who threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes.
Edinburg North's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Ruiz, who threw for 84 yards and three touchdowns.
