St. Mary has gone 9-1 against Hickman County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The St. Mary Vikings will square off against the Hickman County Falcons at 5:30 p.m. St. Mary will be strutting in after a win while Hickman County will be coming in after a defeat.
While Vikings fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They blew past Ballard Memorial 16-1 on Monday. The Vikings have beaten the Bombers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bombers has come to flipping the script.
Andrew Puckett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Puckett was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

One of them was Gabe Dowdy, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. St. Mary came out on top in a nail-biter against Hickman County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4.
