After soaring to 34 points the game before, the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by Centerville 55-12. Corrigan-Camden was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.
Michael Sullivan threw for 70 yards and a touchdown. Brodgrick "too" Price was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, Damere Arneson rushed for 71 yards.
Andrew Newman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 202 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. Newman really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lamarcus Justice, who gained 159 total yards and two touchdowns.
Corrigan-Camden has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Centerville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Corrigan-Camden will head out on the road to face off against Timpson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timpson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 540 points over their last ten matchups. As for Centerville, they will be playing at home against West Sabine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Sabine is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
