Ceres has gone a perfect 10-0 against Pacheco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Ceres is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
Ceres proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 17) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Lathrop 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Lathrop's batters probably weren't too happy with Samantha Alcarez, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up six walks). Alcarez has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gabby Cole, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with four stolen bases and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Amaia Pritchett was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Pacheco never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Johansen on Friday. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 15-10.
Isabella Chavez was incredible, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with seven stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliyah Zambrano, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Ceres' win bumped their record up to 13-6-1. As for Pacheco, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
Pacheco's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ceres hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Pacheco, though, as they've only averaged .233. Will they be able to contain Ceres' hitters?
Everything went Ceres' way against Pacheco when the teams last played back in March, as Ceres made off with a 15-1 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
