Laurel Highlands was beaten by West Mifflin 72-45 on Saturday. Laurel Highlands has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Laurel Highlands lost, one person who can't be blamed is Antwan Black. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Black, who scored 9 points.
Laurel Highlands has fallen quite a ways from their 25-4 record last season and are now at 1-3. As for West Mifflin, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel Highlands will take on Connellsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Connellsville comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for West Mifflin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry Traditional Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
