Basketball Recap: Rolesville Piles Up the Points Against Knightdale

Rolesville waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took their match with ease, bagging a 66-29 victory over the Knightdale Knights. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Caitlyn Jones was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-11 en route to 20 points. What's more, she also posted a 91% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Camryn Lee, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Rolesville was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Knightdale only four assists.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ja'Kiyah Moore, who had six points.

Rolesville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. As for Knightdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Rolesville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-43 loss against Wakefield on the 18th. As for Knightdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-26 defeat against Jordan on the 25th.
