Central can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Altoona Mountain Lions as the Central Dragons made off with  an  8-1 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for Central as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Madison Kennedy made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Kennedy has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Kennedy was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and a  double.
 Kennedy wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Kaylee Kensinger, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.  Ashlyn Renner was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Central's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 9-11. As for Altoona, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that  defeat, which was their 16th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altoona, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Hollidaysburg at 4:30  p.m. Hollidaysburg and Altoona are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
