Last Tuesday, Colfax took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 67-34 win over Golden Sierra. Given Colfax's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while Golden Sierra is ranked 1282nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at home against Westlake Charter on Wednesday as the squad secured a 66-27 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy.
Western Sierra Collegiate Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was John Harb out in front who scored 17 points. The game was Harb's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Max Frantti , who scored 15 points.
Colfax's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
