Round Rock waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 42-29 win over the Leander Lions. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Lions are ranked 580th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Round Rock's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Leander, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Round Rock and Klein will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leander, they will be taking part in a tournament against Burnet at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
