The War Hill Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 80-61 bruising from Old Suwanee Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Old Suwanee Christian was led to victory by Jon Rojas and Amari Chatman. Rojas dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Chatman dropped a triple-double on 20 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Rojas hasn't dropped below 15 points for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Courtney, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
War Hill Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11. As for Old Suwanee Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
War Hill Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Bible Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Old Suwanee Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Promise Prepatory Academy at 7:00 p.m.
