Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Hamilton

Hamilton barely beat Westchester the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yankees blew past the Comets 13-3 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Yankees, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Hamilton pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Westchester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hamilton is set to face off against their familiar foe Venice at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Westchester will take on rival University at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
