On Thursday, Moss Point suffered a rough 69-48 defeat at the hands of Warren Central.
Moss Point's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alejandro Montalvo, who scored 16 points along with three steals, and Quey'sean Taylor who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Tyrese Ricardo was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Moss Point's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Warren Central, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Moss Point will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Poplarville at 1:30 p.m. Poplarville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Warren Central and Neshoba Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
