The Sussex Tech Ravens are ranked highly in their home state, and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Wicomico Indians. Sussex Tech had to suffer through a rough 71-39 loss at the hands of Wicomico. Sussex Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.
Wicomico's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Se'Lah Foreman, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was Foreman's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Corbin, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Sussex Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wicomico, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Sussex Tech is on the road again on Thursday and play against Parkside at 11:45 a.m. on December 28th. Parkside's defense has only allowed 23.3 points per game this season, so Sussex Tech's offense will have their work cut out for Sussex Tech. Wicomico and Dover will round out the year against one another at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday at. Dover is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
