Riverside Prep had won two straight games and Jaelen Dixon did his part to make it three on Friday. The Riverside Prep Silver Knights snuck past the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights with a 41-35 victory thanks in part to Dixon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. Dixon is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Riverside Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside Prep will welcome Excelsior Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
