Gilbert Classical Academy had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it five. They lost 12-1 to the Wickenburg Wranglers. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Wickenburg's part, Hazen Jones was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Jones has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Echols, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Coming up, Gilbert Classical Academy will face off against Pima at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wickenburg, they will take on Kingman Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
