Eastern Hancock has gone a perfect 9-0 against Wes-Del recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Royals will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Monday, Eastern Hancock got the win against Knightstown by a conclusive 13-7. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Macy Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lilli Ringer and Addisyn Trackwell did most of the damage at the plate: Ringer went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Trackwell went 3-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four runs gave Trackwell a new career-high. Hannah Wittgren was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eastern Hancock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Wes-Del had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 17 runs.
Devyn Jaycox was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Jaycox was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Wes-Del got a massive performance out of Brooklynn Eden, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Eden also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Anderson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Wes-Del's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Eastern Hancock, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Eastern Hancock hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .388. However, it's not like Wes-Del struggles in that department as they've averaged .409. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Eastern Hancock's way against Wes-Del in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Eastern Hancock made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
