The Evansville Christian Eagles will take on the Northeast Dubois Jeeps at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Evansville Christian will be strutting in after a  win while Northeast Dubois will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Friday, Evansville Christian humbled  Lighthouse Christian Academy with a  47-14 victory.
 Evansville Christian found their leader in underclassman  Peyton Geer, who  scored 15 points along with five  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addie Grubb, who  scored a point along with ten  steals and seven  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Northeast Dubois was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Thursday as they fell  33-29 to Vincennes Rivet.
 Despite the  defeat, Northeast Dubois saw an underclassman step up:  Bella Cummins  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Cummins has scored all season.
 Evansville Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Northeast Dubois, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Evansville Christian  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 30  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Northeast Dubois struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 25.4  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Evansville Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Northeast Dubois  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a  53-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Evansville Christian since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
