Baseball Recap: Kendrick Wins Going Away Against Clearwater Valley

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kendrick walked away with it. They blew past the Clearwater Valley Rams 11-4 on Thursday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Ralli Roetcisoender made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jerry Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Kasch Littlefield was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Kendrick hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in four consecutive contests.

Kendrick's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Clearwater Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-12.

As of now, neither Kendrick nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
