The DC International Dragons won the last time they faced the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions, and things went their way on Thursday too. DC International took down the Lions 53-39.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DC International to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Mason, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hoyt King, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
DC International now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
DC International will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Springdale Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 92nd in Maryland, while the Dragons are ranked 25th in District of Columbia). As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
