The Crusaders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Buccaneers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2 for which the team can thank Weihenmayer, who had 12 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.
Pensacola Catholic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, 16-14.
Calvary Christian's win bumped their record up to 29-1. As for Pensacola Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.

It's a different story for Pensacola Catholic, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.6 blocks.
