After a string of three wins, Honeoye Falls-Lima's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 68-45 to the Aquinas Institute Little Irish. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Little Irish are ranked sixth).

Honeoye Falls-Lima's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Aquinas Institute, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Honeoye Falls-Lima will welcome East at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th. As for Aquinas Institute, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-40 win against Hornell on the 30th.
