The Hobart Brickies suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 64-42 defeat at the hands of Munster. While losing is never fun, Hobart can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while Munster is ranked 69th).
Aidan Leonard and Felix Lopez certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Leonard dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds, while Lopez scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Hobart's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Munster, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hobart will take on Hammond Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hammond Morton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 323 points over their last five games. As for Munster, they will head out on the road to challenge Lowell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
