The Ridgefield Park Scarlets fell victim to the Westwood Cardinals''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of the Cardinals. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridgefield Park in their matchups with Westwood: they've now lost five in a row.
Westwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Steve Klein out in front who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Westwood also got a significant boost from Aiden Dugan, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.
Ridgefield Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Westwood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
Ridgefield Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westwood is also done with their season.
