Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnston). They blew past the Toll Gate Titans, posting a 60-31 victory.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Johnston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alanna Colon, who posted 21 points. Colon has become a key player for Johnston: the team is undefeated when she posts at least 20 points, but 5-14 otherwise. Annabella Gesauldi was another key player, putting up 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Toll Gate lost on Thursday, don't look at Mary McNulty. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points and eight boards. Those 20 points gave McNulty a new career-high.

Johnston's record is now 8-14. As for Toll Gate, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Johnston will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Hope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Toll Gate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
