Freeman Academy/Marion fell to the Menno Wolves 54-42 when the two teams previously met in February of last year; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Freeman enjoyed a cozy 54-39 win over Menno on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for Freeman, who now has three in a row.
The victory improved Freeman's record to 16-5. This is the second loss in a row for Menno and nudges their record down to 6-13.
Freeman will take on Marty Indian on Saturday. If the matchup is anything like Marty's 74-70 win from their previous meeting February, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy. As for the Wolves, they will face off against Scotland Friday. Menno is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
