The Brusly Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Wossman Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wossman took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Brusly, who comes in off a win.
Brusly fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 28-26 win over Istrouma on Friday.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Wossman's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were the victim of a tough 38-15 loss at the hands of Sterlington. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wossman in their matchups with Sterlington: they've now lost six in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Tristen Wooten, who rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
Brusly's victory bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for Wossman, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
