North Georgia Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Luke Beaver, who scored 28 points. The game was Beaver's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Walt Elder, who scored 13 points.
Cleveland Christian's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for North Georgia Christian Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
