Sadly, Braylen Townsend posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Bloomington South over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on Friday. Terre Haute North Vigo has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. Weihert and Terre Haute North Vigo will play host again on Friday to welcome Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m.

King Posts Huge Game in 35-34 Loss
While Dash King delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Bloomington North. Despite the defeat, King was still balling out as he rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns.
The loss snapped Bloomington North's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars takes on Southport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gino Prescott Makes It Two for Columbus North
The second Columbus North player making an appearance here is Gino Prescott, and for good reason. He rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Prescott could be in store for another big game when he takes on Terre Haute South Vigo on Friday. Prescott rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Braves duked it out back in October of 2023.
