Evan Parish and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Evan Parish was instrumental in extending Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's winning streak to seven on Friday. Parish was dynamite, making 11 total tackles. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
Momence had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Parish it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Parish saw the Momence Athletics), he made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Castillo Posts Huge Game in 42-14 Loss
Erick Castillo posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 259 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made two total tackles.
Momence's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. Castillo will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Watseka on Friday.

Harrison Came Up Big in Oakwood's 44-6 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Chase Harrison stepped things up a notch to give Oakwood the 'W'. Harrison was unstoppable, picking up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Oakwood's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Unfortunately for Iroquois West, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Harrison. Harrison picked up 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Raiders duked it out back in October of 2023.
