 On Principia's side,  Eli Ackermann made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Ackermann was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Principia got a  massive  performance out of  Joseph Whitelock, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.  Trey Kent-Landrum was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Lutheran North's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Principia,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran North will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome Lutheran South, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:30  p.m. As for Principia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Metro at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
