They were a single  goal away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Centennial Hawks. Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Centennial, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-1.
 Clovis will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carlsbad at 6:30  p.m.  on  the 30th. As for Centennial, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Alamogordo  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The  match will  give Centennial their first taste of in-conference action this season.
