When it comes to explaining why North Fort Myers lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Newson. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Newson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Trey Makar, who scored eight points.
North Fort Myers' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Canterbury, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
North Fort Myers' road trip will continue as they head out to face Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Lehigh will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Canterbury will be home for the holidays to greet Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Verot is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 65.2 points per game.
