Gruver got themselves on the board against Bovina on Friday, but Bovina never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 54-0 win over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Gruver's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Bovina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
