The Rock Hill Redmen's's 17-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Fairland on Thursday, falling 77-25. While losing is never fun, Rock Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 370th, while Fairland is ranked 13th).
Kylee Bruce went supernova for Fairland, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The contest was Bruce's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Addison Godby, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Rock Hill now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Fairland, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
Rock Hill will take on South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairland, they will face off against Reynoldsburg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
