The Badger Braves waltzed into Thursday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Mathews 50-19 on the road. With Badger ahead 37-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Hannah Betts was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 12 points along with 9 steals. Avery Rice was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 6 steals.
Badger's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mathews, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Badger will be playing in front of their home fans against Pymatuning Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Pymatuning Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Mathews, they will head out on the road to face off against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
