The win was all the more spectacular given the Boilermakers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 467th, while the Knights are ranked 217th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bowen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ahmad Marega, who went 7 of 10 en route to 20 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rae'Qwon Rogers, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.
