Softball Recap: Beekmantown Wins Going Away Against Chazy

Beekmantown won the last time they faced Chazy and things went their way on Monday too. Beekmantown was the clear victor by a 15-9 margin over Chazy. Considering Beekmantown has won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Beekmantown got a big performance out of Ashley Barnes, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI. Hailey Tripi was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Beekmantown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chazy only managed four hits.

Beekmantown's record is now 6-4. As for Chazy, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-2.

Beekmantown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-6 victory against AuSable Valley on the 6th. As for Chazy, they have also already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Bolton Central on the 7th.
