Make it six blowout wins for the Highland Hawks this season. They were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over Queen Creek. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Highland has posted since December 11, 2023.
Michael Johnson was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ty Crandall, who scored 11 points.
Highland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Queen Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Gilbert the next time they take the court. Queen Creek will host Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Highland will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
