North Posey is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Paoli is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The North Posey Vikings will take on the Paoli Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, North Posey slipped by Evansville Mater Dei 35-34.
North Posey relied on the efforts of Jed Galvin, who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns, and Liam Stone, who rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns. North Posey also got help from Jackson Graff who showed off his sure hands for 100 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Paoli stacked a ninth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 50-14 win over Forest Park at home. With Paoli ahead 28-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Trey Rominger, who rushed for 188 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Dane Padgett, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 10-1.
North Posey took their win against Paoli in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 by a conclusive 55-31. Will North Posey repeat their success, or does Paoli have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
