The Highlands Golden Rams can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Armstrong and snuck past 17-15. For Highlands, this counts as revenge for the 56-35 loss Armstrong walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Despite the loss, Armstrong had strong showings from Kyan Kline, who rushed for 96 yards, and Ian Olsen, who picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Highlands now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Armstrong, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
Highlands will be playing in front of their home fans against Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Hampton is ranked 229th, while Highlands is ranked 207th). As for Armstrong, they will head out on the road to face off against Kiski Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
