On Thursday Ethan Ratley pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs Ratley has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 2.88 over 17 innings pitched.

Coming up, Ratley and Tates Creek will host Boone County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Commodores are a perfect 3-0 against the Rebels going back to May of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
