The Nazarene Christian Academy Lions will challenge Prestonwood Christian North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Nazarene Christian Academy's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Prestonwood Christian North has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Nazarene Christian Academy will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Westlake Academy, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Lions put the hurt on the Blacksmiths with a sharp 11-2 victory on Thursday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by nine runs or more this season.

Noah Hargrove and Carson Drury made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Hargrove struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Drury tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hargrove has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. At the plate, Hargrove went 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Drury earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases. Those three RBI gave Hargrove a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jacob Struble was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Will Smithers was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Prestonwood Christian North had just enough and edged out Harvest Christian Academy 12-10 on Monday.

Prestonwood Christian North's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
