The biggest upset of the week belonged to Harrah, who took down 56th ranked Glenpool, 29-14.
Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A District 2 this week, Ada beat Tecumseh 35-10. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Douglass's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Patrick McKaufman threw for 291 and 2 touchdowns and Dameko Doddles had 81 yards receiving. On the ground Deondre Clark contributed 101 yards. Isiah Shaputis helped Douglass' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 79 yards.
McKaufman put up the best numbers through the air as the Trojans topped Mannford. McKaufman's favorite target this week was Doddles, who caught 2 passes for 81 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Douglass' McKaufman and Shaputis have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-5 quarterback McKaufman has thrown for 1,113 yards this season, while Shaputis has 16 catches for 383 yards. Tyler Gibson from the Pirates leads the league in rushing with 930 yards.
Gibson of the Mannford is just 70 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 101 carries Gibson has put up 930 yards this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Willis Alexander's team takes on the Warriors. The Trojans are currently in first, while Glenpool is in fifth.
Douglass was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Eddy Scott's team. The Trojans came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
