It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Windsor Jaguars had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Vintage at home to the tune of 49-13. The win was familiar territory for Windsor who now have nine in a row.
Judson Anderson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 119 yards and three touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Erickson, who gained 54 total yards and two touchdowns.
Windsor pushed their record up to 9-1-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.2 points per game. As for Vintage, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Windsor will be playing in front of their home fans against Rancho Cotate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rancho Cotate is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Vintage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
