Vestal made the biggest jump in the
national rankings, moving from 2432 to 1913 thanks to a 1-0 record over the past week. The Golden Bears are currently No. 41 in the New York state rankings, with an overall record of 10-10.
First place in the league belongs to
Maine-Endwell, which has compiled a 14-2 overall record to go with its 6-1 league record.
Union-Endicott is -1.5 games back and in second place with an 11-3 league record.
The Tigers' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing eight hits and three walks to lead the league in both categories. Union-Endicott has given up a mere 112 hits on the year, while striking out 117 opposing hitters.
Brandon Diorio is the leader in that category with 34 Ks on the season.
