Kendall has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will take on the Rochester Prep Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Kendall's defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Rochester Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Kendall fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Notre Dame two weeks ago but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 32-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kendall has scored all season.
Rochester Prep won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. Their tough 48-26 defeat to Le Roy might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Rochester Prep has suffered since December 7, 2023.
Kendall's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-1. As for Rochester Prep, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
Kendall took their victory against Rochester Prep in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 34-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kendall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
